Travelling from the South

Leave the M6 at Junction 41 and take the A6 northbound for approx. 7 miles. On the short stretch of dual carriageway take the right turn to Armathwaite and follow the road for 2 miles. Turn right at the T Junction (signed Armathwaite). Drive through the village (do not turn right at The Dukes Head Inn and go over the River), past the Church, Village Hall and, after 1.5 miles, turn right signposted to Low House & Drybeck. After 75 yards turn left through the Lodge gates and follow the drive to the house.
 
Travelling from the North

Leave the M6 at Junction 42 and take the A6 southbound for approx. 6 miles. Immediately after High Hesket turn left off the short stretch of dual carriage way signposted to Armathwaite. Follow the road for 2 miles. Turn right at the T Junction (signed Armathwaite). Drive through the village (do not turn right at The Dukes Head Inn and go over the River), past the Church, Village Hall and, after 1.5 miles, turn right signposted to Low House & Drybeck. After 75 yards turn left through the Lodge gates and follow the drive to the house.
